Ecological group: endogeic ( Bauer et al. 1998).
Habitat: forests, cultivated soils, meadows ( Milutinoviċ et al. 2010). Zoogeographical distribution type: peregrine (Csuzdi et al. 2011). Distribution in Bulgaria: this is one of the most abundant lumbricids in lowlands in Bulgaria ( Mihailova 1966).
