Distribution: Australia: E Queensland, NE New South Wales.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Common.
Discussion: Subgenus Notamacropus ( Dawson and Flannery, 1985) . Formerly included in Protemnodon , see Haltenorth (1958:39); but also see Kirsch and Calaby (1977).
