Comments.
The material examined is not in bad condition except for incomplete antennae. However, antennal characters are often useful and important for distinguishing Enicospilus species, as previous studies suggested (e.g. Broad and Shaw 2016). Therefore, antennae should be complete to describe a new species.
The affinities of this species are not clear, but, as with Enicospilus sp. 1, it also does not key out to any species in Gauld and Mitchell’s (1981) or Tang’s (1990) keys, indicating that it is potentially an undescribed species.
