Gloeocapsopsis sp. ( Fig. 9F–G View FIGURE 9 ).
Colonies sarcinoid to irregular, 8.7–72.59 µm wide. Sheath firm, thin, smooth, non-lamellated, hyaline or orange, reddish to dark rusty red. Cells irregularly spherical to polygonal, 2.82–15.83 µm diam. Without individual envelopes. Cell content homogenous, blue-green. Without nanocyte or cells in resting stage.
Habitat:— Tree bark inside the forest; associated with Stigonema corticola , Dapisostemon sp. , Gloeocapsa sp.1 ; Pycnacronema rubrum and Chroococcidiopsis sp.1 .
Notes:— this morphotype is similar to Gloeocapsopsis sp. identified by Gama-Jr. et al. (2014) and it is probably a new species.
