Plectolyngbya sp.2 ( Fig.7C–D View FIGURE 7 ).
Filaments entangled. Sheath firm, thin, smooth, non-lamellated, open at ends, hyaline, observed only when without cells. Trichomes cylindrical, erect or slightly coiled, slightly constricted or not, false germinate or single branches. Cell isodiametric, subquadratical or short, 1.07–2.76 µm wide, (0.78) 0.98–2.63 µm long, ratio l/w = 0.84. Apical cells rounded, without calyptra or thickening. Cell content homogeneous blue-green, with distinct chromatoplasma. Necridia present.
Habita: —Tree bark.
Notes: —This morphotype resembles Plectolyngbya sp.1 but differs by habitat and ratio l/w.
