Type host.
Barypenthus sp. (caddisfly larvae) ( Trichoptera : Odontoceridae ).
Infection site.
Adults on the dorsal and ventral sides of the thoracic segments; eggs predominantly on the dorsal side of the thoracic segments.
Type locality.
Brazil, Minas Gerais State, Jaboticatubas, Serra do Cipó National Park, State Highway MG– 010 (km 96), Córrego das Pedras (19°22'10"S, 043°35'53"W).
