Genus Ecteinascidia Herdman, 1880 (Perophoridae) View in CoL
Kott (1985), Monniot (1997b) and other authors refer to spiral folds in the stomach of certain species of this genus. They are more accurately described as grooves in the internal lining of the stomach which appear as slender shallow ridges on its surface.
