Note.

Based on the recent revision by Kippenberg (2020), this subspecies occurs in the French Alps, NW Italy and southern Switzerland, generally at altitudes above 2000 m. The former subspecies Ch. latecincta vallesiaca (Franz, 1949), based on material from Switzerland (Valais), is now included in Ch. latecincta latecincta .
