Remarks. This species closely resembles C. simius spretus . However, the number of elytral macula in fascia and male genitalia can be used to separate the two species. In C. alboscutellatus intervals 2, 7, 8, and 9 have abbreviated cretaceous macular fascia. In C. simius spretus , elytral intervals 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9, have welldefined, cretaceous macular fascia.
