Subgenus Pseudolemula subgen. nov.
Type species. Lemula viridipennis Holzschuh, 1993 View in CoL
Description. This new subgenus belongs to the genus Lemula in general appearance, but clearly separable from nominotypical subgenus by the following characters: Pronotum constricted just behind narrowly marginate apical margin without transversely swelled collar area, widest at base rather than at lateral tubercles; hind tarsus longer, more than 0.8 times the length of hind tibia rather than less than 0.6 times.
Remarks. Only the following two species are known. Regrettably we could not examine any male specimen and the male genitalia of this subgenus remain unknown.
