18. Lemula View in CoL (s. str.) holzschuhi sp. nov.
(Figs. IX-18, XI-18)
Description. Male: BL = 6.9 – 8.4 mm. Head and pronotum metallic blue green to yellowish green; antennae with scape metallic yellowish green and rest dark brown to reddish brown; elytra shiny blue to bluish green; ventral surface dark bluish green; usually abdominal ventrites I to III black, and IV and V light yellow, but sometimes basal half of IV black or entire III yellow. Head with labrum and clypeus with long pale hairs, vertex to occiput sparsely covered with short dark hairs; pronotum sparsely covered with erect short brownish hairs intermixed a few long pale hairs; elytra evenly furnished with suberect long bristle-like black hairs which are twice as long as space between punctures; metasternum and legs furnished with subrecumbent brown hairs.
Head wider than pronotum, moderately covered with fine punctures on vertex to occiput and densely covered with large punctures along basal area; vertex weakly raised with narrow and shallow median furrow; occiput depressed medially; temples behind eyes obliquely narrowed, then constricted toward neck; antennae reaching apical third of elytra, relative lengths of antennomeres from base to apex as follows: 25: 10: 18: 21: 30: 26: 28: 29: 26: 26: 35.
Pronotum 1.03 times longer than width across obtuse horned lateral tubercles; disk well convex with distinct median longitudinal depression, sparsely covered with distinct punctures and densely covered with coarse punctures along basal margin. Scutellum tongue shaped with few punctures.
Elytra slightly shorter than twice humeral width (EL/EW = 1.92), with disk moderately covered with fine punctures, space between punctures nearly twice size of each puncture.
Endophallus (Type C). Quite similar with that of L. coerulea or L. fracta in general structure without evident differences.
Female. BL = 7.0–9.3. EL/EW = 1.96. Body color same with male except for abdominal ventrites which are entirely light yellow. Antennae reaching middle of elytra.
Etymology. Species name is dedicated to Mr. Carolus Holzschuh who lent us all the type specimens described by him, and also entrusted us several Chinese specimens including this new species for further study.

.
Distribution. China (Henan, Hubei).
Ecology. Flight period: May–June.
Remarks. This new species resembles L. (s. str.) fracta by the distinct median longitudinal depression of pronotum, abdominal ventrites bi-colored in male and entirely yellow in female, and also by similar endophallic characters, but it is easily distinguishable by the long black elytral hairs instead of short and dark brown.
