Notes.
This species is characterized by a continuous to rimose-areolate thallus, large crystals in the thalline margin, pale brown to red-orange discs and granules in the epithecium that dissolve in K ( Cannon et al. 2022). It is distributed across Europe, Spain, and the USA (https://www.gbif.org/). In Pakistan, it was previously reported from Kalam, Swat ( Aptroot and Iqbal 2012) and is now recorded from Diamer, Gilgit-Baltistan.
