Etymology: Genus name derives from the Latin term ‘ bellul ’ (beautiful), in reference to the preserved posture of the specimen that fully outstretched its wings and legs, mimicking a dancer.

Type species: Bellulia rectusunguis sp. nov.

Diagnosis: As for the type and only species.
