Coastal Strip: Alexandria, Burg, Mariout. Eastern Desert: North Galala, Suez Road, Wadi Garawi, Wadi Morrah, Wadi Um Elek. Wadi Hoff, Wadi Zohleiga. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Barrage, Cairo, Kerdassa, Maadi, Qubba. Sinai: Ain Moussa. Upper Egypt: Aswan.
Host plants. Chamomile ( Anthemis spp.), German chamomile ( Matricaria chamomilla L.), garland chrysanthemum ( Glebionis coronaria (L.) Cass. ex Spach), lettuce ( Lactuca sativa L.), mayweed ( Matricaria sp.), Picris rhagadioloides (L.) Desf., plumeless saw-wort ( Serratula spp.), ragwort ( Senecio spp.), scentless chamomile ( Tripleurospermum inodorum (L.) Sch. Bip.) and sea aster ( Tripolium pannonicum (Jacq.) Dobrocz. ).
