Distribution. PA: Austria & Balkans S to Mediterranean, Egypt, Netherlands, Turkey.
Egyptian localities. Coastal Strip: Burg, Mariout. Eastern Desert: Wadi Zohleiga . Lower Nile Valley and Delta:
Cairo and neighborhood. Sinai.
Host plants. Flower heads of European hawkweed H. lactucella Wallr. ) and mouse-ear hawkweed ( Hieracium
pilosella L.). Source: Merz (1994).
Dates of collection. January to April.
