Trypeta spreta Loew, 1861: 297 . Syntypes. Egypt ( NHMW?). Type apparently lost (V. Korneyev, personal communication). Distribution. PA: Egypt.
Egyptian localities. Coastal Strip: El-Burg, Mariout. Eastern Desert: Abu Sultan, Ogret El-Sheikh, Wadi Abu Nossour, Wadi Digla, Wadi Um Elek, Wadi Zohleiga. Fayoum:?. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Abu Rawash, Faraskour, Mazghouna.
Host plants. Unknown.
Dates of collection. March to October.
