Ulidia smaragdina Loew, 1852: 661 . Syntypes. Mozambique ( ZMHB).
Ulidia rufifrons Walker, 1871: 345 . Unspecified type. Egypt (Cairo & Wadi Ferran) (BMNH). Distribution. AF: Most of Africa (except South Africa). PA: Egypt. Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates. Remark. This species is relatively common. It seems to be collected at the same localities and from the same plant associations as P. alceae ( Al Dhafer and El-Hawagry 2016) .
Dates of collection. Throughout the year.
