Egyptian localities. Widespread throughout the country, particularly: Coastal Strip: Agamy and Sabahia, near
Alexandria . Eastern Desert : Ismailiya, Port Said . Fayoum: Al-zawya, El-Bassyonia, Kom Oshim, Tamia. Sinai:
Arish (on peach), Qantara. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Dakahliya, Giza, Qalubiya, Sharqiya. Western Desert:
Dakhla Oasisi & Kharga Oasis, Nubaria. Upper Nile Valley : Aswan.
Host plants. Apple ( Malus pumila Miller ), apricot ( Prunus armeniaca L.), cantaloupe ( Cucumis
melo var. cantalupo Ser. ), citrus ( Citrus limon (L.) Burm. f.), cucumber ( Cucumis sativus L.), date palm trees
( Phoenix dactylifera L.), eggplant ( Solanum melongena L.), fig ( Ficus carica L.), guava ( Psidium guajava L.),
mandarin ( Citrus reticulata Blanco ), marrow ( Cucurbita pepo L.), mango ( Mangifera indica L.), orange ( Citrus x
sinensis (L.) Osbeck), peach ( Prunus persica (L.) Batsch), plum ( Prunus armeniaca L.), potato ( Solanum
