Egyptian localities. Eastern Desert: Wadi Hoff, Wadi Rishrash. Lower Nile Valley and Delta: Abu Rawash,

Barrage, Birqash, Cairo, Helwan, Kafr Hakim, Kerdassa, Marg, Mansouriya, Shubra, Tisfa, Toukh.

Host plants. Starthistles ( Centaurea spp. Sources: Efflatoun (1924a); Freidberg & Kugler (1989); Korneyev &

White (1992); Freidberg & Norrbom (2000).

Dates of collection. March to June.
