Specimen examined. PERU. Pasco: Pasco, Yanacancha, La Quinua, rout PE-3N, km 144,500, 3642 m, 10°37′28”S, 76°10′28”W, 18 May 2018, debris and rhytidome of Polylepis sp. (mc, 3 Jan 2020, pH 6.23), Treviño Myx 656 (HSP) GoogleMaps .

Notes. Known from the Northern Hemisphere in Europe, North America and Asia ( Poulain et al. 2011), recently reported in the Southern Hemisphere ( Argentina) in the Austral Andes ( Ronikier et al. 2020). It is recorded for the first time in the Peruvian territory, inhabiting the bark of Polylepis trees.
