Description of species. Elytra presenting exactly the same venation in both sexes, with straight and parallel veins; false vein between the principal veins. Elytra longer, less convex, wings usually caudate. Head and pronotum black in color; V-joint of maxillary palpi large and triangular. Pronotum transverse, rounded above, black. Anterior tibia with inner and outer tympanum, anterior and medium legs wholly black or with femora partly yellowish brown and posterior legs wholly yellowish. Elytra bluish- black, shining as long abdomen subgenitial plate of male conical, feebly notched at apex, cerci yellowish in color. Ovipositor compressed, curved, and acute at apex [Plate III].
