Trachynotothrips striatus Masumoto & Okajima View in CoL

This species has been known only from a single male and female taken in Vietnam. It is distinguished from T. brevispinis by the absence of stout spines on tergites III–IV in males, the numbers of posteromarginal setae on sternite VIII, pronotum and the hind leg colouration ( Figs 21–30 View FIGURES 21–30 ).

Specimens studied. India, Kerala, one female and three males, Thrissur , 3.i.2019 (Reg. No. 10755/H17 to 10758/H17) collected by Iftikar Rahman.
