Type Locality: China, Anhwei (= Anhui), Chinteh.

Vernacular Names: Chinese Rufous Horseshoe Bat.

Subspecies Rhinolophus sinicus subsp. septentrionalis Sanborn 1939

Distribution: S China, Nepal, N India, Vietnam.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: rouxii species group. Previously included in rouxii , but see Thomas (2000). Includes septentrionalis, see Csorba (2002) and Csorba et al. (2003).
