Europe: Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Slovakia; Asia: Turkey (Dursun et al. 2015, Papp and Černý 2015). First record from Switzerland.

Host plants Knautia arvensis , K. drymeia .
