Remarks: —The type of Polystichum polyodon is Wallich’s Numerical List No. 7079. Wallich (1832) mentioned the type locality as “Mt Sillet” which probably indicates Khasia Hills of Meghalaya, India. There is no report of its occurrence in Assam, India as labeled on the sheet K-000618099.
