Flowering stems usually 20-40 cm, с. 1 mm in diameter at apex, with (7-)12-17(-25) cauline leaves; leaves linear-oblong, cibate, the largest not more than 3(-4) mm wide. Bracts usually green. Mountains of W. & W.C. Europe from Luxembourg to the E. Pyrenees.
