Morphological synopsis: Body oval. Labrum with more than four horizontally placed setae. Head with rounded pale macula, either limited to the antennal calli or extending to the vertex. Metafemur fusiform, width with nearly half the length of the metatibia. Fourth visible metatarsomere moderately globose, fusiform.

Regarding morphological characters, Omophoita is part of the Asphaera group within Oedionychina , according to Konstantinov et al. 2022. The following updated descriptions will focus on the morphological peculiarities of each species.
