The genus Leptagrion uses bromeliad leaf axils as habitat. Leptagrion andromache is found in southeastern (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo) Brazil ( Costa et al. 2000a).

A single male was collected on a bromeliad in the Sandbank region.
