Habitat. In salty soil with herbaceous plants ( Blakemore 2007).
Word distribution. It is probably indigenous for East or Southeast Asia ( Sun et al. 2015). Distributed in Afrotropical, East Nearctic, Neotropical, and Oriental region, in Australia and in Europe ( Gates 1972; Sims & Gerard 1999; Monroy et al. 2003; Blakemore 2007; Rota 2013b).

Remark. This species is new to the fauna of Turkey.
