Records from Myanmar: King Island; Sullivan Island in the Mergui Archipelago off the coast of South Tenasserim ( Pocock 1889; Attems 1937); Malewoon in Tenasserim ( Jeekel 1970). Originally described from five male and five female syntypes in the London Museum ( Pocock 1889), this species has since been thoroughly redescribed from non-type material ( Jeekel 1970; Likhitrakarn et al. 2011).

Remark. Also found in Thailand ( Attems 1937).

This species seems to be endemic to southern Myanmar and the adjacent parts of Thailand ( Likhitrakarn et al. 2011).
