Record from Myanmar: Double Island, south of Amherst ( Pocock 1893). Based on numerous syntypes of both sexes, all kept in the London Museum. Demange (1960) redescribed and designated one male as “ Type ”, which is equivalent to the lectotype in modern usage.
Remark. This is the type-species of the genus Tuberogonus .
