Holotype, male (numbered 28961), MLP no. 3553/1; Argentina, Buenos Aires, San Fernando; date and collectors unknown.

Remarks: The holotype has genitalia dissected in a vial with glycerine. On the same pin there is a white label with the number 28961 within a red square.

Paracerasa deltae was proposed as new combination by Kopp & Yonke (1979: 29).
