49. Cnidoscolus longibracteatus Fern.Casas & J.M.Pizarro, Fontqueria View in CoL 55: 154 (2004). Type:— GUATEMALA. Chiquimula: Mun. Jocotán, Jocotán, road to Camotán, 14°48 ′ 55 ″ N, 89°23 ′ 49 ″ W, 450 m, 1 October 2000, J. Kufer 92 (holotype MSB-003008!).
Distribution:— Guatemala (microendemic).
Notes:— In the protologue, Fernandez Casas (2004) cites an isotype from the herbarium UVG. This acronym is not listed in Index Herbariorum. UVG is used for the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, but the acronym UVAL is applied to the herbarium of this institution. It is likely that this is the herbarium to which the author was referring.
