Bahia: Itarantim, Serra da Felicíssima GoogleMaps , fazenda Bom Jardim, 15°49 ′ 1 ″ S, 40°6 ′ 57 ″ W, 180–300 m, 8 October 2003, A. Salino, R.C. Mota, N.F. O. Mota & P.H.A. Melo 9166 (holotype BHCB-000128!; isotype MA-716702 !).

Distribution:— Brazil (microendemic).

Notes:— Although the location of the holotype of this species was listed in the protologue as BHCB and the isotype as at MA, the specimen at MA was labeled as holotype and the specimen at BCHB was labeled as isotype.
