Oaxaca: next to hwy 190 between Oaxaca and Tehuantepec. 10.8 miles by road W of El Camarón (turnoff for Nejapa de Madero GoogleMaps ), 16°42 ′ 0 ″ N, 96°10 ′ 60 ″ W, 1000 m, 22 July 1972, G.J. Breckon & M.E. Breckon 1368 (holotype DAV-84228!; isotypes DAV-84225!,F-V0360221F!, F-V0360222F!, MEXU-00262942!, MEXU-00262943!, MICH, NY, US-00170376 !, US-00170377 !).
Distribution:— Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua.
Notes:— This species was initially proposed by Breckon (1975) in his doctoral thesis, but Fernández Casas (2008c) validly published it.
