Type genus: Ceutorhynchus Germar, 1824 [as Centorhynchus , incorrect subsequent spelling of type genus name, not in prevailing usage; placed on the Official List of Generic Names in Zoology (ICZN 1989c)]. Comment: incorrect original stem formation, not in prevailing usage; First Revisers found ( Ceutorhynchinae Gistel, 1848 vs Phytobiinae Gistel, 1848) are Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (2002).
