Lectotype (Bremer in Bot. Not. 125: 33. 1972): Herb. Linn. No. 1029.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Osmitopsis dentata (Thunb.) K. Bremer View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Bremer (in Bot. Not. 125: 33. 1972) treated this as distinct from O. camphorina L. (1767) , and based on a different type. Osmites camphorina L. (1771) is therefore a later homonym, and illegitimate.
