Pterostichus blodgettensis Will, 2007: 50. Type locality: "Bacon Cr[ee]k n[ear] Loop R[oa]d (1250 m), Blodgett Experimental Forest, El Dorado Co[unty], California" (original citation). Holotype (♂) in EMEC.

This species is known only from the holotype.
