Notozus bidens Förster, 1853: 335 . Holotype ♀; Poland: Silesia (ZMB, examined).
Ellampus ( Notozus) bidens : Mocsáry 1889: 74 ( Uzbekistan: Samarkand).
Distribution. Palaearctic species, known from Central and Southern Europe to Central Asia, Siberia and Russian Far East. The subspecies Elampus bidens tristis Tsuneki, 1970 is known from Japan.
