Male characters. Femur armament: frontfemur with 2 apical spines (at the anterio-ventral edge), mid- and hindfemur with 1 apical spine.—Tibia armament: [2.6.1][6.6.2][9.6.3].—Cercal tricholiths: most anuli with 1, few proximal with 2 sensilla, Fig. 18A .

Material studied: N umerous specimens from the Cap Verde Islands Santo Antão , São Nicolau, and São Vicente (prep. of 1♂: Cv 35/7), 2007, leg. Bohn, Knebelsberger & Saks. ( ZSM) .
