Type species. Heterogamodes intermedia Chopard, 1929 View in CoL

Definition. Distinguished from the other two subgenera by the midtibia armament with only 7 spines in the apical whorl [7.7.1], right phallomere Type 1/2 ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ): Upper etage of the main dent as in Type 1 scarcely sclerotised and with wrinkled surface, but top not pointed, in ventral sight almost completely rounded, with a small lobelike process ( Fig. 3E View FIGURE 3 ). Subgenital plate not distinctly bent dorsad, posterior half covered with strong bristles.
