Original material: [icon] in Shaw, Cat. Pl. Afr. As.: 46, f. 572. 1738.

Current name: Telephium imperati L. ( Caryophyllaceae ).

Note: Williams (in J. Bot. 44: 300. 1906) treated a Shaw specimen at OXF as the type specimen. However, this was never seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
