Type material. HOLOTYPE: MMS /VBN.00.004 ; PARATYPES 1–4: MMS /VBN.02.94, 09.132d, 12.A.003, 12.A.006 (see Robin et al. 2019: table 1), housed in the palaeontological collections of Velaux municipal institutions (Musée du Moulin Seigneurial /Velaux-La Bastide Neuve) .

Etymology. From the type locality: Velaux-La Bastide Neuve, Bouches-du-Rhône, southern France.

Diagnosis. As for genus.
