Remarks.

The sequenced specimens from Portugal form a unique BIN ( BOLD: AFO 9873) with the nearest neighboring BIN being BOLD: ADZ 9059 (p - distance 1.6 %), which includes four unidentified Limnesia specimens from Morocco.

Distribution.

North Africa, including the Sahara desert, Russia, southwestern Europe from Portugal ( Lundblad 1956; Valdecasas 1988) to Greece ( Gerecke et al. 2016). In Portugal previously reported from Beira Alta ( Lundblad 1956).
