Notes

According to Le Divelec (2021), Hylaeus nigrifacies is the correct name for the species that has generally been known as Hylaeus moricei (Friese, 1898). The only published record of H. nigrifacies from Italy is that of a specimen from Naples, one of the paratypes of Prosopis nigrifacies rhenana Warncke, 1986 ( Warncke 1986).
