Refs.: Curran, 1927a: 151 (key to species); Aldrich, 1928: 35 (redesc., rev., key to species); Townsend, 1931b: 176 (type notes); Thompson, 1963c: 302 (redesc., key to Trinidad species); Guimarães, 1971a: 181 (cat.). Comm.: This species is not recorded to Colombia, but is likely to occur in the country as it occurs on several adjacent countries ( Panama, British Guyana, Trinidad, Venezuela, Brazilian Amazon, etc.) ( Aldrich 1928: 35; Curran 1934: 519; Thompson 1963c: 302)
