Chelotomimus (H.) wellsi ( Baker, 1949) ( Figs. 1, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 10 ; Table 1 View TABLE 1 )
Examined materials — One female from soil and litter under Cornus sanguinea and one female from soil under Cydonia ablonga , ÇaybaŞ₁ district, Uzundere, Erzurum (40°32’ N, 41°33’ E), 3. X. 1999, coll., S. Doğan.
Distribution — Argentina, Australia, Chile, China (Shichuan, Fujian and Taiwan), Cuba, Hawaiian Is., India, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Takabannare Is., U.S.A. ( Ehara 1962, Volgin 1969, Summers & Price 1970, Goff 1987, Gerson 1994, CorpuzRaros 1998, 2000, Walter 1999, Fain et. al. 2002) and Turkey (current paper).
Remarks — Turkish specimens closely resemble others in general features, but outer ventral seta on palpal tibia is piliform in one specimen, thickened and covered with small scales in another specimen. In addition, leg tibia of Turkish specimens each bears five setae (excluding solenidion), a useful diagnostic character for the Turkish specimens.
