Diagnosis: Carapace length equal to its width at the antero-lateral angles, but much lengthy at posterior end. Third pair of legs more than three times the length of carapace. Lateral borders of carapace cut into two teeth. A row of sharp granules are present on the outer surface of fixed finger.
Distribution: India: Andaman and Nicobar Is. and West Bengal (East coast eastuary), Elsewhere: Natal (S. Africa) and Seychelles.
