Material examined: From earlier record.
Diagnosis: The carapace flat depressed and covered with short tine hairs. Regions well defined and areolated. The length of the carapace half or slightly more than half of its greatest breedth.
Distribution: India: Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal
(South 24 Parganas) and Odisha (Talsari). Elsewhere:
Arakan Coast, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf. Remarks: This species is reported new to this area.
