Type material. Holotype: female, NHMD # 115543 , with labels " Th. Hansen Møn 16-1-1961 ", " Braconidae , Ichneutinae , 'Muesebeckiini', DQ 2008". Danish amber, late Eocene.
Etymology. This species is named after the geological epoch dated for Danish amber.
